I have seen and worked with hitters from
my son’s youth games to the Major
Leagues, I have never seen a consistent
perfect swing. Every youth league hitter
I have seen has at least three to four areas
of his mechanics that if changed could help
him hit for a higher average and more power.
A key to fixing your mechanics is being
able to recognize what areas need to be
changed. Recognizing the problem is half
the battle. If you wait too long and keep
making the same mistakes over and over,
you will not develop into the hitter you
are capable of being. You will continue
to train your brain and your body the incorrect
habits that will jeopardize your swing.
